Our Philosophy is simple: At every class our goal is to give the best instruction to every student, help each one reach their full potential and help each student appreciate the art of dance

We recognize that the safety of the child is paramount, and that good teaching will bring benefits. Therefore only teachers who hold Registered Teacher status may enter candidates for International Royal Academy of Dance Examinations, Presentation Classes or Class Awards. We ensure excellence by asking teachers to uphold our code of conduct & professional practice.

The school is open to children, career orientated students as well as those who wish to study for the pure enjoyment of the art form. The Jennifer Petersen School of Dance feel that building strength, flexibility, grace, fluidity, poise and confidence is not only the secrets to a great performer but also a parallel to success in everyday life.

SABOD is the only dance body in South Africa who is affiliated to the International Dance Organisation.
